These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern any free trial of Halogen Greens (Pty) Ltd products requested through this website. By submitting a free trial request, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Free trials are offered at the sole discretion of Halogen Greens (Pty) Ltd and are generally limited to commercial farmers, qualified distributors, and recognised research partners operating within regions we serve. We reserve the right to approve, decline, or limit any trial request without obligation to provide a reason.
2. Free Trial Arrangement
Halogen Greens will supply free product for a mutually agreed period of time for a predetermined crop. Application methods and a grow-program making use of our product will be finalised directly between the farmer and Halogen Greens before the trial commences.
3. Trial Objectives
Clear objectives must be set by both parties to validate the trial. Should the agreed objectives be met, the trial will be deemed successful. Importantly, even when objectives are met, there is still no charge for the product used during the trial period.
4. Farmer Costs
The trial product itself is provided at no cost. Costs borne by the farmer include transport and packaging container costs only. All other product-related expenses during the agreed trial period are covered by Halogen Greens.
5. Trial Product & Quantities
Trial product type, volume, formulation, and packaging are determined by Halogen Greens based on availability, crop, region, and trial objectives. Trial quantities are intended for evaluation purposes only and may not be resold, repackaged, or redistributed.
6. Application & Use
Trial product must be applied strictly in accordance with the guidance and grow-program provided by Halogen Greens or its authorised representatives. The participant is responsible for ensuring safe handling, storage, application, and disposal in line with applicable local regulations and good agricultural practice.
7. Preliminary Research Results
All trials form part of our ongoing research and development programme. Outcomes, observations, and any data shared during or after the trial constitute preliminary research results and are subject to further verification. No guarantee is made regarding yield, efficacy, crop response, or commercial outcomes.
8. Data & Reporting
Participants agree to share reasonable observations, photographs, and outcome data with Halogen Greens to support trial evaluation. Halogen Greens may use anonymised trial data for research, publication, regulatory submissions, and product development.
9. Accountability & Liability
Should the agreed objectives not be met, Halogen Greens will not be held accountable for the trial outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halogen Greens (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from participation in a free trial, including but not limited to crop loss, yield variation, or third-party claims. Participation is undertaken at the participant's own risk.
10. Changes & Cancellation
Halogen Greens reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any free trial programme, or these Terms, at any time without prior notice. Continued participation following any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Disclaimer
These Terms are read in conjunction with our Disclaimer & E&OE Statement, which forms an integral part of the agreement between the participant and Halogen Greens (Pty) Ltd.
